Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–3 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rochester follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I have so much gratitude for everyone I encountered at this office, from the very first phone call - to the surgery! I was treated with an unexpected warm kindness from every single person and it made this scary procedure a ton easier. When I needed to reschedule my initial appointment, so that I didn’t miss my daughter’s opening day at softball, I was even told by the receptionist - β€œI thank you on behalf of all the good moms in the world!”. She was beyond understanding and sweet to me. I was received with nothing but patience and consideration when I needed to be over an hour behind schedule, due to my support person needing to take an exam that morning. I would have completely understood if I couldn’t be seen at all but it was the opposite! This shocked me in the best way. I’ve never had more than a cleaning and an x-ray done (and only a couple times) at a dentists office. So jumping into a complex triple-wisdom tooth extraction while under anesthesia, felt terrifying to me. Despite that, the surgeon and the staff in the room quickly gained my trust. Thank you for the informative conversation and answering my questions. Thank you for meeting me where I was at and not patroni

After over a month of trying to find someone to extract my wife's teeth because of other medical complications 3 different places in Buffalo refused to take her on as a patient . We even made a trip to Pittsburgh and were denied there also. Then somebody referred us to Rochester specialty dental. After talking to Maggie on the phone for 15 minutes, my wife determined that was the place that she needed to go . Maggie worked with doctor George and the staff who all were so friendly and caring and within days they made an appointment And performed the extraction. Thanks to the great surgical staff, my wife can now continue with her other treatments. I highly recommend this place for anybody who needs a great oral surgeon

I don't know where to start honestly. Nothing less than amazing, from the scheduling of my appointment, to post operation. Two days ago 5/09/2026, I had to have several extractions performed (wisdom teeth included) the staff were friendly and comforting. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The procedure itself went in a flash (I was put under anesthesia) and it's only been two days and the healing is phenomenal. It's a true testament of the proper work they do. I never would have imagined I had several teeth surgically extracted only 48 hours ago haha. The entire process was amazing, the staff is amazing. The work itself is amazing! Such a wonderful place and people.

For years, I’ve been told I needed my wisdom teeth removed. I put it off for over 10 years, just due to personal fear and anxiety. I recently received a new referral from my dentist, so I decided to finally schedule the appointment. I could tell, simply by my phone call.. this place was exactly where I needed to go. Maggie helped me to schedule, and was so pleasant to speak with - she was wonderful. Fast forward to yesterday.. I walked into their office a nervous wreck, literally crying because I was so afraid. The woman at the front desk (so mad I can’t remember her name), was nothing short of phenomenal. She asked to grab my hand and explained to me, I was in the best hands and that Dr Levine is great at what he does. She really helped ease my mind. Dr Levine was told I was nervous, and came out personally to introduce himself while I was in the waiting room. I could already tell, I was going to be pleased with everything all around. His super friendly nurse, took me back to prep me for the produce - being sure to talk about what made me feel comfortable. She also, was amazing and helped ease my mind. They gave me anxiety meds before sedation so I was comfortable before being put

I went here to get my wisdom teeth removed. Drove from Buffalo bc everyone else denied the job saying it’s β€œtoo difficult” dr George made sure to explain the whole process to me & made me comfortable. The nurses & techs were amazing and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable after being under anesthesia. Forever grateful for this team for getting the job done when I was in great pain. 10/10 recommend!
